According to the font arrangement diagram and the typeface diagram, the corresponding program is selected for engraving. The size, width, depth, arrangement and spacing of the font must be engraved according to the requirements of the drawings.

With movable type block

① When milling the movable type block slot on the milling machine, the shape, size and depth must be as required by the typeface drawing.

Grind the milled movable type block with the groove, the bottom and side surfaces of the movable type block are in complete contact with the groove, and the circumference has no gap. The lettering is engraved after the surface curve of the fine-turned movable type block.

Fitter (opening grooves, punching holes, inserting air sleeves, polishing)

Open the exhaust slot according to the lettering drawing, and the width and depth are required to conform to the drawing and be uniform.

Drill air holes and insert air sleeves. It is required that the air sleeve does not sag or protrude, and the chamfer is consistent.

According to the drawing, the back of the side plate is punched with the link hole with the upper cover and tapped, and then the entire side plate is ground and polished, and the internal smoothness of the cavity reaches Ra1.6. After cleaning, apply anti-rust oil.
